I'm getting the error "This code is no longer valid
This error usually means one of two things: the eSIM has already been installed, or there's a problem with the QR code or activation code itself.
First - check if your eSIM is already installed
- iPhone: go to Settings → Mobile Service and look for your Gohub eSIM in the SIM list
- Android: go to Settings → Connections → SIM Manager and check if it appears there
If it's already there, your eSIM is installed - you just need to adjust a few settings to get connected.
⚠️ If your eSIM was previously installed and then deleted, it cannot be reinstalled. Contact Gohub support immediately.
If this is your first time installing, try the following:
- Check your QR code or activation code - make sure it hasn't expired and is the correct one from your confirmation email or Gohub app
- If entering manually - double-check for typos, extra spaces, or incorrect capitalization
- Disable any VPN on your device
- Switch to a stable Wi-Fi network - avoid public or ship Wi-Fi
- Remove any eSIMs you no longer use to free up space
- Make sure your device software is up to date
- Try a different installation method - if QR scan didn't work, switch to manual entry, or vice versa
If the error persists, contact Gohub via WhatsApp - our team can verify your activation code and reissue a new one if needed.
