- Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).
- Choose Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan.
- Choose Use QR Code.
- Scan the QR below or tap Enter Details Manually and enter the activation code. You can also choose Open Photos to upload the QR image.
- Click Next to finish the installation.
- Upon arrival, turn on Data Roaming and Cellular Data to start using the internet (Do not enable Data Roaming beforehand to avoid early activation).
Note:
- The validity period starts when you activate the eSIM on your device.
- Only iOS 17 and above allows opening QR codes from Photos.
For Android
- Go to Settings > Connections.
- Choose Add eSIM.
- Choose Use QR Code.
- Scan the QR below or tap Enter Details Manually and enter the activation code. You can also upload the QR image.
- Click Next to finish the installation.
- Upon arrival, turn on Data Roaming and Cellular Data to start using the internet (Do not enable Data Roaming beforehand to avoid early activation).
Note:
- The validity period starts when you activate the eSIM on your device.
- Only Samsung Galaxy S20 (and above) and some Android phones allow uploading a QR image to set up eSIM.
