I installed my eSIM. Do I need to do anything else before I travel?
Installation is done, but there are a few important things to take care of before you fly:
- Do NOT turn on Data Roaming yet - keep it off until you physically arrive at your destination. See What do I need to do when I arrive at my destination to start using my eSIM? for how to enable it when you land.
- Do NOT delete your eSIM - eSIMs can only be activated once. If deleted for any reason, it cannot be reinstalled or recovered, even on the same device. Gohub is unable to reissue a deleted eSIM.
- Save a screenshot of your QR code - store it somewhere accessible (camera roll, cloud storage) in case you need it for reference later. Remember the QR code itself can only be scanned once, but having it saved is useful for support purposes.
- Check your plan's Activation Instructions one more time - if your plan has Special Activation Required or KYC, make sure all steps are completed before boarding. See Carrier-Specific Guides
