Can I install my eSIM before my trip?

Yes - and we actually recommend it. Installing your eSIM before you travel means one less thing to worry about at the airport or after landing.

The best time to install is the night before your flight, at home, on a stable Wi-Fi connection. You're not in a hurry, your network is reliable, and if anything goes wrong you still have time to contact support before you fly.

After installation, do not turn on Data Roaming right away. Keep it off until you physically arrive at your destination. This prevents your plan's validity from counting down while you're still at home or in transit.

One thing to confirm before you install: Make sure you're on the phone you plan to travel with

Once a Gohub eSIM is installed, it is permanently tied to that device, it cannot be transferred, moved, or reinstalled on any other device, including your own. There are no exceptions, and Gohub cannot recover an eSIM that was installed on the wrong device.
