Can I use iMessage with my eSIM?
Yes, iMessage works with your Gohub eSIM over a data connection. You may need to reset iMessage after installing your eSIM for it to work correctly.
How to set up iMessage with your Gohub eSIM:
- Go to Settings → Messages
- Toggle iMessage OFF, then back ON
- Tap Send & Receive
- Uncheck your phone number, and make sure your Apple ID / iCloud email is checked
This allows iMessage to send and receive using your data connection only, without needing a phone number.
When you're done traveling and want to switch back to your primary SIM: Go to Settings → Messages → Send & Receive → check your phone number again.
