Does my eSIM plan include Calls and SMS?

Most Gohub eSIM plans are data-only - meaning you can browse the internet, use apps, and make calls via Wi-Fi calling apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Zalo, but you won't have a traditional phone number for cellular calls or SMS.

Some plans, however, offer additional calling and messaging features. You can identify them by their tags on the plan card:

CALL-SMS tag: The plan includes cellular calling and SMS. The exact allowance varies by plan - for example, some offer 15 minutes of calls and 50 SMS, while others include unlimited on-network calls and messages.

Each plan's full calling and messaging details are listed in the Technical Details section on the plan page - including whether calls are limited to on-network, capped at a certain number of minutes, or unlimited.

Tip: If you only need internet access during your trip, a data-only plan is usually more affordable. Only pay for calls and SMS if you genuinely need a local number or cellular calling capability.
