Australia, the UK, Canada and New Zealand all include unlimited domestic calls & SMS. Guam adds unlimited calls & SMS to the US on top of local ones. Brazil includes unlimited domestic calls plus 50 SMS. Maldives plans work differently: 150 local minutes + 150-200 local SMS + 150 MVR of international credit.
Outside Australia, the included calls and texts are domestic. The cheapest way to reach family is over data - Zalo, WhatsApp, Messenger or FaceTime all run on the data in your plan.
