What Does a Dead Phone Cost You at Tinker Field?

A dead or offline phone at Tinker Field strands you, because nothing about the weekend is printed on paper. Insomniac publishes the festival map and the stage set times on its site, its social channels, the Insomniac app and by email in the days before the gates open 11. The bars and food stands take only cards and phone wallets 12. Your shuttle pass works on one line only and cannot be refunded 6.

The grounds also have no re-entry on any day, so once your wristband is scanned you cannot pop back to a hotel to look something up 3. The moment this hurts is around 23:30 on the Saturday, when Kinetic Field is packed, half your group is still at Neon Garden and the return shuttle queue is building. Without a working phone you lose the map, the group chat and the line colour of your shuttle all at once. That is why a charged battery and a data connection belong on the same list as your ID.

Finding Your Shuttle Line After Kinetic Field Closes

Return shuttles start at 9 PM and stop 60 minutes after the music ends at Kinetic Field 6. The drop-off zone is about a 15-minute walk from the main entrance, and each pass is valid on one coloured line only 6. Screenshot the pass, drop a map pin at the loading area when you arrive, and check your line before the last set ends.

Regrouping Between Circuit Grounds and Neon Garden

Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, Neon Garden, Stereo Bloom and CASA BACARDÍ pull a group in different directions all night 10. Voice calls rarely get through over the bass, so share live location in your group chat before you go in. The festival's own health team tells attendees to set up meeting points and stick together 13.

Approving Card Payments at Cashless Bars

The grounds accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Android Pay, and cash only works once it is swapped onsite for a prepaid card 12. Foreign cards often trigger a fraud check or a one-time code at the first tap. You need signal at the bar to approve it, or the queue moves on without you.

When Is EDC Orlando in 2026?

EDC Orlando 2026 takes place on Friday 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026 at Tinker Field in Orlando, Florida 1. Insomniac has published the dates on the official site, and FOX 35 Orlando reported them as the festival's 15th year in the city when the lineup was announced on 25 June 2026 15.

The Electric Daisy Carnival first came to Orlando in 2011, and Tinker Field has hosted it since that debut 5. The format is three consecutive days on a single weekend, with the same gate hours each day. Gates are open 1 PM to 12 AM, and a valid, unscanned ticket gets you in until an hour before the end of the event 3 11.

The lineup is grouped by day, so you know which night your favourite act plays before you pick a 1-day pass 2. Stage-by-stage set times come later: Insomniac posts them on the official site, its social media, the Insomniac app and by email shortly before the festival 11.

  • Friday 6 November 2026: David Guetta, Afrojack and Mau P, with an Alesso sunset set 2

  • Saturday 7 November 2026: Kaskade, Steve Aoki and Alison Wonderland, with an Alan Walker sunset set 2

  • Sunday 8 November 2026: Martin Garrix, Hardwell and Alok, with a SLANDER sunset set 2

Hotel EDC, the official resort takeover at Sunset Walk in Kissimmee, runs one night longer, from 6 to 9 November 2026, with daytime pool parties and priority access to the official after-parties 9. That extra Sunday night is a hint for everyone else too. With the music ending at 12 AM on Sunday 8 November and return shuttles running until 60 minutes later, there is no realistic way to make a same-night flight 6.

Tip: Book your flight home for Monday 9 November, not Sunday evening. A Sunday departure from Orlando International Airport (MCO) means skipping the closing headliners at Kinetic Field.

What Does Each Insomniac Pass Tier Get You at EDC Orlando?

Every attendee needs a pass, and the cheapest way into EDC Orlando 2026 at Tinker Field is a single-day GA pass at 149.22 USD, including fees but before taxes and delivery fees 4. Prices follow all-in pricing, and the official page warns that tiers can sell out, so the price you see may be higher than the starting figure 4.

Insomniac sells three tiers, each as a 3-day pass or a single day:

  • GA (Experience Pass): 3-day 336.99 USD; single day 149.22 USD on Friday, Saturday or Sunday 4

  • GA+ (Experience Plus): 3-day 379.99 USD; single day 211.32 USD on Friday or Saturday and 200.97 USD on Sunday 4

  • VIP (Elevated Experience): 3-day 659.66 USD; single day 241.37 USD 4

GA covers the gates, every stage, the art and the visual effects 4. GA+ adds a dedicated, faster entry lane and air-conditioned restroom trailers, which matter more than they sound on a sunny Florida afternoon 4. VIP adds fast entry, VIP-only areas, food and drink options and activities, and every VIP area is 21+ 4.

The whole festival is 18+, and you need a valid photo ID at the gate 3. International visitors can relax on one point: a US or foreign government-issued passport with a photo and date of birth is accepted 3. A foreign driving licence backed only by a passport photocopy does not count for 21+ purchases or VIP areas, so carry the passport itself 3.

Entry runs on a barcode-enabled wristband rather than a phone QR code 14. Once a ticket has been scanned it is non-transferable 11. If you buy at the last minute or need help, the box office and will call sit at Lake Lorna Doone Park, at the corner of W Church St and Rio Grande Ave, not at the main gates 3.

Tip: Going all three days? Three single GA days cost 447.66 USD in total, against 336.99 USD for the 3-day GA pass 4.

How Do You Get to Tinker Field for EDC Orlando?

Tinker Field sits at 287 S Tampa Ave, Orlando, FL 32805, two miles from Downtown Orlando and 14 miles from Orlando International Airport (MCO) 5. Its coordinates are 28.53861, -81.404778, on the western side of Camping World Stadium 18.

The ground itself has a story. Tinker Field was built in 1914, served as the spring training home of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Senators and Minnesota Twins, and joined the National Register of Historic Places in May 2004 5. Dr Martin Luther King Jr spoke from its pitcher's mound on 6 March 1964, and Tinker Field History Plaza, opened in 2018, now remembers that day 18.

From Orlando International Airport (MCO), the main options are:

  • Taxi: about 38–45 USD to Downtown Orlando or International Drive 16

  • LYNX bus: 2 USD in most areas and 4 USD in the Disney Resorts area 16

  • Brightline: trains stop at the MCO Train Station, and the festival's booking widget takes 15% off eligible SMART SELECT fares with a 59 USD minimum 16 8

For EDC Orlando 2026, the official shuttle is the simplest way to reach Tinker Field. Shuttles leave continuously from 12 PM to 8 PM from every stop, and return shuttles start at 9 PM and stop 60 minutes after the music ends at Kinetic Field 6. A 1-day round trip costs 52.88 USD and a 3-day pass 123.59 USD at Tier 1, rising to 57.88 USD and 133.59 USD at Tier 2 6.

  • Orange line: Vineland Rd, near Universal Orlando Resort 6

  • Yellow line: Canada Ave, near Universal Orlando Resort 6

  • Green line: International Drive 6

  • Blue line: Jamaican Ct, in the ICON Park area of International Drive 6

  • Silver line: Palm Pkwy, Lake Buena Vista 6

Driving is the weak option. Premier Parking in Lot 1, at W Church St and Rio Grande Ave, is listed as sold out, general parking is described as extremely limited, and any car left in the lots after 2 AM is towed at the owner's expense 7.

Tip: The shuttle drop-off is about a 15-minute walk from the main entrance 6. Wear shoes you have already danced in.

What Plays on Each Stage at Tinker Field?

Each of the five stages at Tinker Field has its own sound, so you can plan a night by stage as much as by artist 10. The EDC Orlando 2026 lineup spreads more than 100 acts across those stages over three days 15.

  • Kinetic Field: the main stage, where each night's biggest headliners close the show 10 6

  • Circuit Grounds: big melodic sets; the stage text promises "epic melodies" 10

  • Neon Garden: deep techno and house under a crystal-moon theme 10

  • Stereo Bloom: hosted by Insomniac Records and Dreamstate, from house to bass music to trance 10

  • CASA BACARDÍ: a house-party stage with specialty cocktails, daily DJ sets and golden-hour surprises 10

Friday 6 November leans mainstage and tech house, with David Guetta, Afrojack, Mau P, Levity and Prospa on the bill 2. Saturday 7 November brings Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Alison Wonderland, Ray Volpe and Skull Machine, the Black Tiger Sex Machine and Kai Wachi project 2. Sunday 8 November closes with Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Alok, Meduza, I Hate Models and Boys Noize B2B Brutalismus 3000 2.

The sets tagged "Sunset Set" are the ones regulars plan around. Alesso, Adventure Club, Brunello and MALUGI play them on Friday; Alan Walker, Devault and Rossi. on Saturday; and SLANDER, Of The Trees and Marlon Hoffstadt on Sunday 2. Sunday also has a San Holo "Wholesome Riddim Set" 2. These late-afternoon slots are when the light goes orange over Camping World Stadium and the grounds are still easy to cross.

Away from the stages, the grounds mix art installations and carnival rides, and VIP adds fast-pass lanes on some rides 4.

Tip: For the Kinetic Field closer, stand to one side of the sound desk rather than at the barrier. You still see the full production, you keep an exit route, and you are nearer the path to the shuttle walk.

When Should You Arrive at the Tinker Field Gates?

Arrive at Tinker Field in mid-afternoon, an hour or so before the sunset sets, on each day of EDC Orlando 2026; gates are open 1 PM to 12 AM 3. Turning up at 1 PM is only worth it for a specific early act, because there is no re-entry and the day is long 3. Turning up after dark means the longest entry lanes and missing the golden-hour sets.

Orlando in November is warm and mostly dry. The 1991–2020 normals at Orlando International Airport give November an average high of 78.3°F (25.7°C), an average low of 58.2°F (14.6°C) and 1.79 inches (45 mm) of rain over about 6 rainy days 17. The open field feels hotter in direct sun in the afternoon, and nights can turn cool enough for a light layer.

Our crowd estimate, from 1 (easy) to 5 (packed):

  • Gate opening to late afternoon: 2, short lines and easy walks between stages

  • Sunset sets into the evening: 4, entry lanes, food stands and bars fill

  • Kinetic Field headliner to close: 5, with the heaviest flow on the walk out

The festival runs rain or shine 3. Rain ponchos and umbrellas under 10 inches when collapsed are allowed, while large umbrellas, tents, chairs and blankets are not 3. A personal misting fan is fine if its bottle is no bigger than 1.5 litres and empty on arrival 3.

Pack to the bag rules, because the security line is not the place to discover them:

  • Clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a small clutch up to 6 x 9 inches 3

  • Hydration packs with no more than two main compartments and one small one, empty on entry 3

  • Totems up to 10 feet tall, made of foam or PVC, with no solid metal 3

  • No outside food or drinks, including candy 3

Tip: Eat a full meal before boarding the shuttle. Earplugs are allowed, and the free water stations are marked with a droplet symbol on the festival map 3 12.

Should You Stay on International Drive for EDC Orlando?

International Drive is the best base for most visitors, because two of the five official shuttle lines pick up there and the area has dense hotels and late food 6. Choose the area by its shuttle line first and the hotel second, since each pass only works on the line you bought and is non-refundable 6.

How the main areas compare:

  • International Drive: Green and Blue lines, including the ICON Park area; easiest for first-timers 6

  • Near Universal Orlando Resort (Vineland Rd, Canada Ave): Orange and Yellow lines; good if you add a park day 6

  • Lake Buena Vista (Palm Pkwy): Silver line, close to the Walt Disney World area 6

  • Downtown Orlando: closest to Tinker Field at two miles, but with no shuttle line, so you depend on rideshare at closing 5 6

  • Sunset Walk, Kissimmee: home of Hotel EDC, with its own shuttle stop 6 9

Hotel EDC packages for EDC Orlando 2026 cover a 3-night stay at Sunset Walk in Kissimmee from 6 to 9 November 2026 and start at 1,296 USD per person for cottages and 1,559 USD per person for rooms and suites, based on double occupancy and including taxes and fees 9. Packages include daily food and drink credits, pool parties, a glam station, access to Island H2O Water Park and priority access to the official after-parties 9. A round-trip festival shuttle pass can be added for 89 USD 9.

Downtown looks tempting on a map, but the official parking page asks visitors to carpool or rideshare and lists no dedicated pickup zone 7. At 12 AM, thousands of people request rides at once, so expect long waits and surge fares.

Tip: Book your room in the same session as your shuttle pass, and check the pickup street before you pay. A hotel ten minutes' walk from the stop is fine at 1 PM and a long way at 1 AM.

What Happens to Your Signal When Kinetic Field Fills Up?

When Kinetic Field fills for the closing headliner, mobile data at Tinker Field slows down and there is no attendee Wi-Fi to fall back on. The official amenities guide lists charging stations, info booths and water refill points, but no Wi-Fi network for attendees 12. Everything practical on the grounds, from the map to payments, runs over your own data 11 12.

At EDC Orlando 2026, the habits that keep a phone useful inside Tinker Field are simple:

  • Download the festival map and set times at your hotel, in the Insomniac app or as screenshots, before boarding the shuttle 11

  • Screenshot your shuttle pass and line colour, because passes are non-refundable and valid on one line only 6

  • Share live location with your group before you enter, since there is no re-entry if someone has to go back 3

  • Text instead of calling during headliner sets

  • Charge at quiet moments; charging stations are on the map, and rented lockers include a universal phone charger 12

Data use depends on how much you film. Messages, maps and tap-to-pay use little; posting video from the Kinetic Field crowd every night uses far more. Add theme-park days and airport transfers and the total climbs again.

Visitors from outside the United States should sort out data before they fly. You need it in the arrivals hall at Orlando International Airport (MCO) to book a taxi, find the LYNX stop or check the Brightline connection 16. A global eSIM that covers the United States can be installed at home and switched on after landing.

Tip: Keep your home SIM active for bank codes and use the eSIM for data. That way payment approvals at the cashless bars still reach you.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. EDC Orlando accepts a US or foreign government-issued passport with a photo and date of birth as valid ID 3. Bring the original passport, not a copy. A foreign driving licence with only a passport photocopy is not accepted for 21+ purchases or VIP areas, and everyone must be 18+ to enter 3.

No. There are no ins and outs at EDC Orlando, so once your wristband is scanned you stay inside until you leave for the night 3. Eat before entering, bring a charged power bank and arrive at a time that suits you, because the day runs 1 PM to 12 AM 3.

The box office and will call are at Lake Lorna Doone Park, at the corner of W Church St and Rio Grande Ave, Orlando, FL 32805 3. That is separate from the main gates, so collect anything you need there before joining the entry lanes. Bring the photo ID that matches your order.

Totems at EDC Orlando can be up to 10 feet tall and must be made of a lightweight material such as foam or PVC, with no solid metal 3. Keep the pole light enough to carry through the shuttle walk, and remember that crowds near Kinetic Field cannot see past a large flag.

Return shuttles start at 9 PM and stop 60 minutes after the music ends at Kinetic Field 6. The music ends at 12 AM, and the drop-off zone is about a 15-minute walk from the main entrance 3 6. Leave the closing set a few minutes early if you are slow on your feet.

The official amenities guide lists charging stations, water refill points and info booths but no attendee Wi-Fi at Tinker Field 12. Plan on your own mobile data, set up before you fly, and download the festival map and set times at your hotel so they open even when signal is weak 11.
