Why a Wonderfruit Day Runs Through the Wonder App

Wonderfruit is a village of stages, forests, kitchens and workshop spaces spread over The Fields at Siam Country Club, and the first venue release for 2026 already names 26 spaces 9. A single day can start with a sunrise set at Solar Village, move to a herbal balm workshop in Wonderness, and end under Jiro Endo's lights in The Quarry. The full timetable lives in the Wonder App and the artist Profiles pages rather than on printed boards at every stage 3.

The organiser states plainly that there is no Wi-Fi anywhere on The Fields, and that phone signal and 5G can be erratic, though they often work 3. When the connection drops, the problems stack up fast: a set time moved by an hour, a pre-booked Journey you cannot find, friends who drifted off toward Forbidden Fruit, and a shuttle back to Na Jomtien that leaves without you. A phone that loads the app quickly turns a round-the-clock programme into a plan you can actually follow on foot.

Finding Friends at Solar Village Before Sunrise

Solar Village is where Wonderfruit gathers for sunrise and sunset with bands and DJs, a ritual that has run since the first edition 5. The dawn crowd climbs to it in the dark from every direction, while others choose the earthen courtyard at Enfold or the always-open lounge at Neramit 9. Sharing a live location pin before the sky lightens is the reliable way to meet, because a shouted name disappears under the sound system.

Booking a Ride Back to Jomtien After the Gates Close

Last entry is at midnight from Thursday to Sunday, and nobody gets back in until 08:00 the next morning, with no exceptions 3. If you leave late for a hotel in Na Jomtien or Pattaya, you need a ride-hailing app working at the Main Gate, not a dead screen. Check the shuttle times and book the car before you walk out, since there is no way back inside if the plan fails.

Topping Up the Wristband by Card

Every bar and food stall on The Fields takes payment from the cashless wristband, and topping it up by credit card means a banking app may ask for a one-time code 3. That text message or app approval needs signal, and card top-ups cannot be refunded afterwards 3. Topping up near a water station on open ground, rather than in a crowded bar queue, saves a failed payment.

When Is Wonderfruit Festival Thailand in 2026?

Wonderfruit Festival Thailand 2026 runs from Thursday 3 to Monday 7 December 2026 at The Fields at Siam Country Club in Chonburi, as confirmed on the official site 1 2. It is the 11th edition of the festival, and its organising idea is Field Village, a return to Wonderfruit's roots as a homegrown Thai gathering 13.

The 2026 dates sit about a week earlier than usual, since Wonderfruit normally lands on the second weekend of December 14. Tomorrowland Thailand follows on 11–13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, which Time Out places about a 15-minute drive from The Fields 16 14. Anyone extending a coastal stay into the second week of December will compete with that crowd for rooms.

The five days follow a fixed shape, and the gate hours decide how you plan each one 3:

  • Thursday 3 December: gates open 16:00, last entry midnight 3

  • Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December: gates open 08:00, last entry midnight 3

  • Saturday 5 December: Weekend Pass holders enter from 08:00 2

  • Monday 7 December: closing sunrise, then camping check-out at 12:00 6

The organiser notes that times may change, so check the Wonder App in the final week 3. The full set-time schedule is released on the app and the artist Profiles pages ahead of the festival 3.

Wonderfruit has also grown beyond one December weekend. The official site lists Camp Wonder on The Fields from 18 to 23 December 2026 and Din Daen from 29 to 31 January 2027, both separate from the main festival 1. Dates for Wonderfruit 2027 will be announced later on the official site.

Tip: Do not confuse Camp Wonder or the Open Fields programme with the festival itself. They use the same grounds but need different tickets, and a December 18 booking will not get you into Wonderfruit.

What Does a Wonderfruit 5-Day Full Pass Cost?

You need a ticket for every day at Wonderfruit; there are no free public areas inside The Fields, and prices rise with each sale window. The November Sale for Wonderfruit 2026 runs 3–9 November 2026 from 16:00 Bangkok time, with limited capacity, and its waitlist closes on 2 November 2026 2. In that window the 5-Day Full Pass costs THB 12,900 and the Weekend Pass THB 11,500 2.

Earlier windows were cheaper and are gone. The first general sale, 1–7 September 2026, priced the 5-Day Full Pass at THB 10,900 and the Weekend Pass at THB 9,500 13. The September and October windows sold out for both main passes 2. If any remain at the door, the 5-Day Full Pass is listed at THB 20,000 and the Weekend Pass at THB 15,000 2.

The other 2026 passes, with the November price first and the door price second 2:

  • Sunday Pass: THB 5,000 or THB 6,500, from Sunday 6 December to the Monday sunrise 2

  • Teen Pass, ages 13 to 19 with ID: THB 4,500 or THB 5,000 2

  • Dog Pass: THB 1,000 or THB 1,500 2

  • Youth Pass, ages 20 to 24 by application: THB 3,900 for five days 2

  • Intro Pass for first-timers aged 20 and over: THB 4,500 for one 24-hour entry 2

The Family Pass covers one or two adults and one to four children or teens, with 5% off the paid tickets, and children aged 12 and under enter free 2. Each buyer can purchase a maximum of four tickets 2. A reusable Wonder Cup costs THB 690 as a pre-order collected at the Box Office, and a Fields Kit THB 4,500 2.

Your wristband name must match a photo ID at the gate, and a mismatch means no entry 8. Register each ticket in the attendee's own name, not the name of the friend who paid.

Tip: The Weekend Pass looks cheaper per day, but it starts at 08:00 on Saturday 5 December, so you miss the Thursday opening and the whole of Friday, when the site is calmest 2.

How Do You Reach The Fields at Siam Country Club?

The Fields lies inland from Pattaya in Bang Lamung district, Chonburi, beside Siam Country Club at about 12.918 N, 100.988 E 19. Wonderfruit sits around a 30-minute drive from central Pattaya and approximately 150 km, or two to three hours, from Bangkok 15. There is no train station at the gate, so the last leg is always by road.

From Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, most visitors go by road to Pattaya or Na Jomtien first, then out to the site. The organiser lists private and public buses, minivans, airport limousines, trains and car rentals for the Bangkok-to-Chonburi leg 4. U-Tapao Rayong Pattaya International Airport (UTP) is closer to the coast, about 50 km south of Walking Street in Pattaya and about 140 km south of Suvarnabhumi 17. Check which airlines serve U-Tapao from your departure city before relying on it.

For the final stretch from the coast, there are three practical choices:

  • Official shuttle: a Shuttle Pass gives unlimited rides at a fixed price from official stops 15. Passes are sold separately from hotel packages, and anyone can board at the partner hotel stop nearest to them 4.

  • Hotel shuttle: one partner resort about 27 km from The Fields runs complimentary shuttles for its guests at 15:00 and 18:00 4.

  • Taxi or ride-hailing car to the festival entrance; Time Out Bangkok also mentions a motorbike taxi of 10–15 minutes for about THB 100 15.

In late October 2026, the official ticket and travel pages still listed shuttle passes, shuttle schedules and parking as coming soon 2 4. Check those pages again before you leave Bangkok rather than assuming a car park or a set route.

Tent trucks and campervans are not allowed into the camping area 3. If you drive with camping gear, plan to carry it in; a trolley is allowed only to move heavy or bulky items 6.

Tip: Plan the arrival around the gate rule: nobody enters between midnight and 08:00, so a late bus from Bangkok means waiting outside until morning 3.

What Happens at Solar Village Between Sunset and Sunrise?

Solar Village is the heart of the Wonderfruit programme: every day starts and ends there, with bands and DJs marking sunrise and sunset, and the official venue list describes it as a modular village whose rhythm follows the sun 5 9. Names announced for Solar Village at Wonderfruit 2026 include Jason Kendig, Alex Albrecht, Markie, Pam Anantr, AWARË, Salin and Carps, with more to come 5.

The wider 2026 music bill runs under the Sound of The Fields banner. Announced acts include Tangerine Dream, Eli Keszler, Orphx, Nubya Garcia, Gerd Janson, Loyboy, Jane Fitz, Nicolas Lutz, DJ Python and the Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band 13. Headliners do not dominate the experience; the venue often matters more than the name.

These are the spaces worth placing on your map:

  • The Quarry: an underground room on the Upper Fields with a 120-decibel system, lit live by Jiro Endo for the first time in 10 years 11

  • Molam World: Isaan music, food and art around the Molam Bus by the Jim Thompson Art Center, curated by Maft Sai 10

  • Living Village and Creature Stage: a natural amphitheatre for shared listening, plus a multisensory stage 9

  • Forbidden Fruit: an open-air dance floor for uplifting sets 9

  • Enfold: an earthen courtyard for close listening, next to General Camping 9 6

  • Cheese Shack: karaoke tucked inside a tree 9

Molam World's 2026 line-up includes Sombat Simla, Lorjhu' from Madura Island, Thee Marloes from Surabaya, Sansae from South Korea and Khontan & The Hymmapan Express 10. In The Quarry, DJ Masda, JakoJako, Sweely and Jesse You join residents Justfin and Chalo 11.

Daytime belongs to Wonderness, the wellness strand in the Lower Fields 11. Its 2026 theme, Rooted in the Inner Axis, brings herbal balm-making with Thai traditional medicine, the Ancestral Forest Therapy Experience and Deep Dance Meditation 13. Art sits between stages, including Light Hive by RGB Installation with RedLight Lab and Indigo Vessel by Pinaree Sanpitak 13.

Tip: Climb to Solar Village well before first light. The slope fills in the dark, and a pre-agreed meeting point beats searching by torchlight.

How Hot Do The Fields Get in Early December?

The Fields are hot and dry in early December: Pattaya averages a high of 30°C and a low of 22.5°C in December, with about 8 mm of rain over 1 rainy day 20. Sunshine averages 7.5 hours a day, and the sea off Pattaya sits around 28°C 20. December opens the dry season, which runs to April, and evenings from December to February can turn a bit cool 20.

Those numbers set a clear daily rhythm on The Fields. Midday is the hardest time to be in open grassland, with little cover between some venues. Early mornings and the hours after sunset are the comfortable windows, which is why the sunrise and sunset sessions draw such big crowds. The organiser warns that weather can vary across the five days and recommends rain covers, tarps for shade and secure tent pegs 3.

Crowd levels follow the passes. Thursday 3 December from 16:00 is the quietest arrival, Friday builds, and Saturday and Sunday peak once Weekend Pass holders arrive from 08:00 on Saturday 5 December 3 2. Time Out puts attendance at more than 25,000 people a day 14. Saturday night is usually the most crowded stretch.

For arrival, aim for Thursday afternoon if you hold a 5-Day Full Pass. Boutique Camping check-in opens at 12:00 on Thursday 3 December 2026, four hours before the main gates 7. Queues at the Box Office build through the afternoon, with bag checks and pat-downs at entry points 8.

  • Cover up from late morning to mid-afternoon; shade between stages is patchy.

  • Carry a light hoodie for after dark; countryside nights cool down 8.

  • Use sunscreen and sunglasses, both on the organiser's packing advice 8.

Tip: General Campers should keep the rain cover on the tent and peg it down firmly, and bring a mallet for hard ground, as the organiser advises 6.

Should You Sleep on The Fields or in Jomtien?

Sleeping on The Fields solves the midnight gate problem, while a hotel in Na Jomtien or Pattaya gives you air conditioning, a pool and a real bed. The choice usually comes down to how much of the night programme you want to see.

On-site, Wonderfruit 2026 offers three levels:

  • General Camping: THB 1,500 per guest plus 7% VAT and fees, bring your own tent, check-in 16:00 on 3 December, check-out 12:00 on 7 December 6

  • Boutique Camping: lockable Pavilion Tents in The Grove, near the bar and entrance, or the quieter Hideaway, check-in from 12:00 on 3 December 7

  • Slow Wonder: air-conditioned cabins at THB 235,000 plus VAT for five days and four nights, for two guests 12

General Camping sits in the quieter parts of The Fields next to Enfold and Wonder Kitchen, with communal showers and restrooms, two shaded lounges, charging stations and water refills 6. Tents are not provided or rented, spaces are first-come, first-served, and stoves, glass, drones and alcohol are banned 6. Bring earplugs: music runs into the early hours and some pitches sit close to the sound 6.

Boutique Camping adds 24-hour reception, on-site medical support, a private guest entrance, dedicated parking and a shaded Lakeside Lounge 7. Slow Wonder cabins include an ensuite, breakfast at Jungle House and room for up to four extra registered Friends of Slow Wonder, with check-in from 14:00 on 3 December 12.

Off-site, the organiser's partner hotels sit about 16 km, 22 km and 27 km from The Fields, in Na Jomtien and Pattaya, and serve as shuttle stops 4. Na Jomtien is the closest coastal base for an easy shuttle. Central Pattaya has more food and nightlife, but the drive back after a late set is longer. Early December is peak season on the coast, so book a refundable room now and confirm it once tickets are secured.

Tip: Boutique Camping reservations cannot be changed once made, and Weekend Pass holders staying there still cannot enter the festival until 08:00 on Saturday 5 December 7.

Why Is There No Wi-Fi on The Fields?

The Fields at Siam Country Club is farmland and forest, and the organiser does not provide Wi-Fi anywhere on site 3. Phones run on the mobile networks alone, and the official FAQ says phone signal and 5G can be erratic, but often work 3. When more than 25,000 people a day share the same cell towers, performance dips at the busiest moments 14.

Those busy moments are predictable. Signal is weakest at sunset and sunrise on Solar Village, when everyone uploads at once, and in the hour before midnight when people try to book rides from the Main Gate. Low ground by the lakes and the hollow of The Quarry can be patchier than the open slopes.

What your phone actually does during a Wonderfruit day:

  • Loads the Wonder App for set times and the site map 8

  • Shares live locations across a site with dozens of venues 9

  • Approves card top-ups for the cashless wristband 3

  • Translates Thai-language menus in Molam World or Open Kitchen

  • Calls a car back to Na Jomtien or Pattaya before the gates close 3

A local plan installed before you fly saves time at Suvarnabhumi or U-Tapao and keeps your home number active for banking codes. A Thailand eSIM works on most recent phones and can sit beside your home SIM, so card top-up messages still reach you.

Battery is the other limit. Charging stations sit at each water station, marked by glowing droplet signs 3. General Camping also has charging stations, and Boutique Camping and Slow Wonder add power in your own space 6 12. A battery pack still helps, because the queue at a charging point at sunset is long.

Tip: Download the Wonder App map and your Journeys bookings while you still have hotel Wi-Fi in Pattaya, so the basics work when the signal drops.

How Does the Wonderfruit Cashless Wristband Work?

Wonderfruit is fully cashless: your wristband acts as a wallet, and you top it up to pay at every bar and food stall 3. ATMs stand at several points on site for cash to top up with, and credit card top-ups are non-refundable 3. You can also pre-load a balance before arriving, which saves time in line at the Box Office 8.

The no-plastic rule shapes every drink. Single-use plastic bottles and cups are not allowed anywhere at Wonderfruit, and water refills at the stations are free 3. Bars follow a no cup, no service rule: bring any reusable 16-ounce (pint) cup, never glass, or buy one 8. Outside alcohol is banned in all areas, including campsites, outside food is confiscated and flasks are emptied at the gate 3.

Budgeting is simpler when you plan around the pass, the bed and the wristband:

  • Pass: THB 12,900 for the 5-Day Full Pass in the 3–9 November 2026 sale 2

  • Bed: THB 1,500 plus VAT for General Camping, or a hotel night in Na Jomtien or Pattaya 6

  • Cup: THB 690 for a Wonder Cup, or bring your own 2

  • Transport: a Shuttle Pass, or taxis from the coast 4

  • Food and drink: loaded onto the wristband as you go 3

Food is part of the programme rather than a side stall. Open Kitchen is a two-storey pavilion of Southeast Asian home cooking, Theatre of Pizza reimagines the Italian dish, and Jungle House serves slow meals by the lake 9. Pa'Chan & Friends run workshops such as black soybean nam prik 5.

Anyone under 20 cannot buy alcohol and wears a Teen wristband at all times 3. Cameras and drones are forbidden unless you hold a permit from Wonderfruit 3.

Tip: Keep cards and spare cash in a secure locker rather than a pocket on the dance floor 8. For any emergency off site, Thailand's Tourist Police answer in English on 1155, and the ambulance line is 1669 18.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Children aged 12 and under enter Wonderfruit free and need no advance ticket, but they must be with a parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian 3. Under-13s without an adult are turned away. The Family Pass gives one or two paying adults and up to four children or teens 5% off the paid tickets 2, and Little Wonder is a play area built for young festival-goers 9.

The November Sale runs 3–9 November 2026 from 16:00 Bangkok time, with limited capacity, and its waitlist closes on 2 November 2026 2. The 5-Day Full Pass costs THB 12,900 and the Weekend Pass THB 11,500 in that window 2. After it, passes are only promised at higher prices, if any remain.

Yes, dogs can come to Wonderfruit with a Dog Pass, which costs THB 1,000 in the November Sale or THB 1,500 at the door for 2026 2. The owner still needs a valid festival pass. Midday on The Fields is hot, so plan shade and water for the dog, and avoid the loudest stages such as The Quarry.

Yes, until midnight. A valid wristband lets you leave The Fields and re-enter, but there is no entry between midnight and 08:00, with no exceptions 3. Anyone who leaves after midnight on Sunday 6 December cannot come back on Monday 7 December at all 3. Plan hotel runs to Na Jomtien or Pattaya around that rule.

No. Wonderfruit runs 3–7 December 2026, while Tomorrowland Thailand runs 11–13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya 2 16. Time Out notes the two sites are about a 15-minute drive apart 14. Visitors planning both should expect busier, pricier coastal hotels in the second week.

The Intro Pass is a programme ticket for people who have never attended Wonderfruit. For 2026 it costs THB 4,500 for adults aged 20 and over with ID, approved by application 2. It gives one 24-hour entry with no re-entry, usable any day from Thursday to Sunday. It suits a single-day taste before committing to five days.

Plan for more than a city break. The Fields has no Wi-Fi, so the Wonder App, maps, location sharing, card top-ups and photo uploads all run on mobile data, and the organiser warns that signal can be erratic 3. Download the map and bookings in advance and pick a plan with enough headroom for five days of uploads.
